Digital Illustration (Winter ‘09 Term):
This course allows students to use vector-based application tools to create original digital illustrations. Students will learn to create visual impact through illustrative elements. Advanced effects and styles will be introducted in order to give depth to illustrations.
Digital Type & Visual Identity – CGR220 (Summer ‘09)
Students will analyze and develop visual identity systems using digital type as a basis for developing effective individualized logos, marks, and logotypes. Students will explore the premise of branding and have the opportunity to conceptualize a company brand.

Drawing For Illustration (Winter ‘09 Term)
This is a fundamental drawing course in which students will investigate basic aspects of drawing as it relates to illustration. Students will use observation and invention as well as explore and experiment with various media and techniques to generate drawings.
Ethics – PHI210 (Fall ‘09 Term)
A practical approach to applied ethics, this course introduces basic problem solving skills or moral situations. Avoiding logical fallacies common to ethical debates, creativity in exploring ethical options and establishing rules for fruitful moral debates are among the tools that will be developed to help students resolve moral dilemma. Development of personal vale systems will be emphaized. A discussion of traditional moral theories is presented.
